The Setting:

You have received an invitation to participate in an intercontinental high stakes poker game with a jackpot of $100 million. This exclusive event will be hosted onboard the luxury cruise ship, the MS Montenegro in the Adriatic Sea, and will be attended by some of the most rich and powerful people in the world – including the British secret agent, James Bond 007, a man that you have had a brush with in the past. The buy-in is $10 million and the martinis are complementary. Some of you are here to play cards for a shot at the prize money. Some of you are here to gather intelligence on the elusive and influential guests onboard. And some of you have come with more sinister motives in mind. With $100 million on the line and a ship full of mysterious and secretive characters – can anyone be trusted? Consider everyone a suspect and ask your questions thoroughly.

The Crime:

After the first session of the game concluded, several players were already down to their last handful of chips. Many cards had been dealt, with many bluffs called. Double-O Seven lost many of the first few hands; but towards the end of the session, he began picking up a winning momentum as he learned the “tells” and behaviors of the other card players. The dealer called for a one hour intermission. The players left the table to get drinks at the bar and mingle with the other guests on the ship. James Bond left the stateroom went back to his room. When the game was about to recommence, Miss Moneypenny burst into the stateroom and frantically announced that James Bond had been shot dead in his room. After all the narrow escapes and dangerous feats, James Bond 007 had finally been killed by someone onboard this ship. One of you is the killer. Since there are no authorities on the ship to conduct an investigation into the murder yet, you need to find out who committed the murder. When you have found someone with a motive, gun, and who was in James Bond’s room when he was shot, then you may have found the true murderer.

The Party:

This murder mystery party is not appropriate for  teens. It can be modified for 8 to 26 characters. Please inquire if you are in need of a fundraiser.
